Tolstoy on the Screen

I know that the opening night of the film Anna Karenina was long time ago. I've watched it though only the other days. And my response will sound as Adorable, Perfect. And you know what, such an outcome was a surprise for me, as I went to the cinema with rather sceptical feelings.
But everything was gorgeous: dresses, decorations, actors performance. For me, especially brilliant were levin and Kitty.
Domhnall Gleeson (Levin)
Alicia Vikandler (Kitty)

They acted love so emotionally deep and thrilling that I was ready to burst out with tears. I was amazed at such a heartfelt performance. I guess that their secret lies in their eyes. they seem to be a real mirrow of their souls. Banal words, I know, but that's my point!
The background image in form of decorations is a great idea. I felt as if I were in the theatre. And the overall scence with office workers and mowers, when they were synchronically moving coinciding with excellent music. Fantastic!
Concerning the screeling of the literature masterpiece, I have to admit that it's not bad. The main difference for me was that the situation of the main character Anna in the film is quite understandable, and I symphasized her. Although, in the book, again in my opinion, she's too bitchy (I'm sorry for the strong words, but still) and while reading, I didn't feel with her at all.
All in all, it was a great pleasure to watch such a magnificant film!
